Forest Ridge Fighting Fish Swim Team
The Forest Ridge Fighting Fish is a summer recreational swim team open to youth ages 5–18 who live in Forest Ridge or surrounding neighborhoods. Practices are held at the Forest Ridge Pool, located at 6801 Union Schoolhouse Road.
League Affiliation
Our team is a member of the Miami Valley Swim Association and follows the bylaws established by the league. These guidelines are reviewed, voted on, and updated by representatives from each of the five participating swim clubs.
Season Overview
- The team travels to five local pools throughout the summer season.
- Swimmers enjoy more than just competition—they also participate in pool parties, fundraisers, and special team events.
Fundraising Activities
- Concessions stand at every home meet
- July 4th celebration
- End-of-summer raft party
Parent & Caregiver Involvement
Parent and caregiver participation is essential to the success of the team. Families are required to help support home and away meets, as well as fundraising efforts. No experience is necessary—training will be provided for all roles at swim meets.
